Keeps heartburn away!

I started experiencing heartburn every time I ate no matter what or how much I ate and was puzzled. Then, I researched and discovered that not only do a lot of people make less stomach acid as they age, but you are especially susceptable to this if you are a woman doing through peri or menopause. I read about Betaine HCL and started taking one before every meal. It absolutely got rid of the heartburn. It comes back if I forget to take one, but as long as I remember I have no problems with heartburn anymore. It has really made a huge difference in my life. I've been buying this for over a year now and don't plan to stop as long as it works for me.

Helped heal ulcer and stop acid reflux

A lot of people don't realize that indigestion / heartburn / GERD is often a sign of LOW hydrochloric acid production, not too much HCL. I read up on this and tried this formula and it took care of the problem. Another thing very common cause of indigestion is a hiatal hernia which I also had apparently. I did the simple self-help technique I learned on YouTube and it helped tremendously immediately (Google "adjust hiatal hernia). So, that along with the HCL really helped. I also started taking some enzymes with meals and some deglyccerized licorice root chewable tablets an hour before meals whenever I noticed any reflux. All worked together very nicely to 100% resolve the acid reflux. Stress can really add to this, so if you're deal with it, learn to calm your nerves via meditation or similar or take a supplement to help you overcome stress such as GABA.

Helps with bloating

I definitely am less bloated and gassy by using this. I wish I could say I have lost weight but not yet.
